Delete your Jnana account

You can delete your Jnana account, and the data tied to it, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1: in the app
- Open Jnana and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Sign in again with Google or Apple when asked, to prove it is you.
Your account is deleted straight away, and the app starts you again as a new, anonymous player.
Option 2: by email
If you no longer have the app, email support@thepancakestack.dev with the subject "Delete my Jnana account". Include your display name and friend code, or the email address of the Google account you signed in with, so we can find the right account. We may ask you to confirm before deleting anything, and we will reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account, profile, display name, friend code, and Daily streak.
- Your cloud backup of Gauntlet bests and Daily results.
- Your friends (from their lists as well as yours) and your blocked list.
- Match invites waiting for you, and your seat in any lobby you joined.
- Your Daily board submissions, at every status.
- Your push notification tokens.
- Game progress stored on your device (when you delete in the app).
- For an account created with Sign in with Apple, Jnana's access to your Apple Account is revoked.
What is kept, and for how long
- Matches already played with others stay visible to the other players until they are deleted automatically — Rallies 7 days after they close, Duels 7 days after they end.
- Invites you sent stay in a friend's inbox until they open or decline them, or the match closes.
- A board we published as a Daily stays in the game and the Daily Archive with its credit. Email us to change or remove the credit.
- Usage analytics and crash reports are not linked to your account, so they are not deleted with it. They expire on their own: crash reports within 30 days, analytics event data within 14 months.
To delete specific data without deleting your account — for example, to withdraw a Daily submission or remove a friend — use the app, or email us. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
